About Barber Matt

Matt is a fourth-generation barber whose roots in the industry run deep. With a family legacy spanning 90 years, Matt's upbringing was in the rich tradition of the barbershop. For the first decade of his career, he honed his craft in the oldest barbershop in the state, learning from the best in the business.

For Matt, cutting hair isn't just a job – it's a passion. Each haircut presents a new opportunity to unleash his creativity and skill, transforming each head into a masterpiece. Nothing brings him more satisfaction than surprising his clients with a perfect cut and hearing their delighted response.

With 13 years of experience, Matt is a seasoned professional who can wield his scissors with closed eyes. Along the way, he's crossed paths with an eclectic array of individuals, from heavyweight boxing champion Evander Holyfield to former Braves closer John Rocker, enriching his journey in the barbering business.

Outside the barbershop, Matt finds fulfillment as a husband to Lyndsi and a father to two young boys, Wyatt and Evan, with a third boy on the way. While he may not offer flat-top cuts, Matt excels in providing precision straight razor shaves, ensuring his clients feel refreshed and revitalized.

In addition to his dedication to his craft and his family, Matt is actively involved in his community, volunteering with his boys' Little League teams. Whether coaching on the field or cheering from the sidelines, Matt values the opportunity to give back and support the next generation.

Beyond the chair, Matt values the friendships he's forged with his clients, many of which have blossomed from casual conversations during their time in his chair. Grounded in his faith, Matt strives to surrender his life to Christ daily, recognizing that without Him, he is nothing.
